Small Group
During the small group sessions, the coach will compile a group of players of similar age/and or technical ability and work on a specific focus.
WHY TRY SMALL GROUP TRAINING?
Variety of training exercises - There is a greater number of exercises you can perform in a small group, and players are able to work on many technical aspects along with small game-like situations such as 2v1 and 3v2.
Much more personalized exercises - Unlike large team sessions, small group training is more in line with the individual needs of the player. Having a large number of players at training can make exercises not target specific to the specific player.
Tracking development - Having a smaller group of players will make it easier for the coach to monitor and evaluate. This could be noticing technical work that may require more attention or tweaking, or movement off the ball when attacking.
Teamwork - Smaller groups will help players connect and build healthy relationships. In addition, the more the players know about each other's game, the better the understanding and chemistry will be on the pitch during games.
